Join our team in our office locations, in Worms or fully remote as Working Student Energy Management Solutions (m/f/w).

The Energy Radar Department at Cuculus is looking for a motivated working student to help us bring our product EnergyRadar Service Management to life.

EnergyRadar Service Management (ER) is a solution that is capable of reading real-time meter data from different sources. This data will be used for customer engagement in the energy transition. The solution is based on hardware, a cloud-based solution, and an App for consumers.

What is the role about?

Analysis of existing Smart Home solutions.
- Home Energy Management becomes an important part of our solution in the future. Therefore we are looking for support on how to integrate ER into such solutions, like “google home” or “home assistant”.
- Your task will be to analyze the most relevant existing solutions and how ER could be integrated into such a solution.
Development of a connector, to become part of the open-source solutions.
- The second part of your task will be the implementation of the needed connector to make ER an integral part of such solutions.
- Also to enable open-source solutions to work with ER to become a relevant Home Energy Management system.

You fit in with us, if…

You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English.
You are experienced in using Python, C++, RasBerry Pi, GitLab, and/or similar tools.
You ideally have gained some practical experience in working with Phyton and Raspberry Pi, and with programming of smart home applications.
