Senior Sales Manager - Nordics and DACH - (m/f/d) - German and English Speaking

What is the role about?
As a Senior Sales Manager you are part of an international Sales team and will be a significant contributor to the success of our young, dynamic company.
You will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within specific geography (Nordics and DACH). You will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with utility companies and our partners, identifying new business opportunities, and jointly with our market partners delivering integrated solutions for the unique needs of our customers. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, industry expertise, and strong sales acumen.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Achieving growth and assigned sales targets. Identify, qualify, develop and support the closure of new business within Nordics and DACH.
  • Own deal price structure analysis and design, create and execute sales project strategy.
  • Overall responsibility for strategic business development, sales and Go-to-Market plan that expands Cuculus’ customer base and ensures its strong presence in the market. 
  • Drive local partnerships and a stronger long-term partner eco-system.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utility companies, including executives, managers, and technical staff.
  • Present and demonstrate our software solutions to prospective partners and customers, effectively communicating the value proposition and addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with Sales Support, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, and delivery teams to develop customized proposals and presentations that align with client objectives.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for your territory.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and road shows to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, promoting knowledge sharing, skills development, and professional growth.

  • You have proven experience (10+ years) in a senior sales role within the software technology industry, with a focus on telecom or the utility sector.
  • You demonstrate experience developing and scaling channel partnerships. 
  • You track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably within the region.
  • You outstand communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels.
  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • You demonstrate results-driven focus - you go out of your skin to finish your part at quality in time.
  • You prove ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and driving projects to successful completion.
  • You have commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • You have willingness to travel within to meet with partners and customers and attend industry events.
  • You are self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
