Join our EnergyRadar team in Leipzig, Erfurt or Ilmenau or work remotely (10 – 20 hrs/week) as Working Student Energy Management Solutions (m/f/d).
We are looking for a motivated Working Student to help us bring our product EnergyRadar Service Management to life.
EnergyRadar Service Management (ER) is a solution that is capable of reading real-time meter data from different sources. This data will be used for customer engagement in the energy transition. The solution is based on hardware, a cloud-based solution, and an App for consumers.
What is the role about?
  • Are you a tech-savvy student with a passion for mobile app development? We’re looking for a working student to help create the next generation of user apps that drive the energy transition. As part of our team, you’ll contribute to EnergyRadar, a cutting-edge app that provides users with insights into their energy consumption, costs, and ways to save.
  • In this role, you’ll work with modern tools and frameworks, learning hands-on about app development from design through deployment. You’ll bring a blend of technical skills, creative problem-solving, and a curiosity to learn. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to build high-impact apps that help users make smart, sustainable choices.
You fit in with us, if…
  • You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a similar discipline. 
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English. 
  • Basic Proficiency in a Mobile Development Language (e.g., Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android).
  • Willingness to Learn Cross-Platform Frameworks (Flutter or React Native as a plus).
  • Familiarity with UI/UX Concepts and an openness to develop design skills.
  • Introductory Knowledge of Databases or Backend Services (e.g., Firebase).
  • Interest in Learning Performance Optimization & Testing (basic debugging skills are helpful).
  • Experience with a Development Environment (e.g., Xcode or Android Studio).
  • Basic Organizational Skills and interest in Agile methodologies.
  • Interest in Collaboration with designers and developers; basic communication skills.
  • Curiosity and Problem-Solving Mindset for technical challenges.
